Easy Image Rotator v2.0.0 has been released for Joomla 2.5 and Joomla 3.x see below the release notes

Release notes v2.0.0:

  • *new* Image Slider has been replaced by nivo slider that is based on JQuery
  • *new* Administration Interface for the Component has been completly rewritten and contains now a new layout and options
  • *new* Added Support for Joomla 3.x and Joomla 2.5 (lagacy support for older versions e.g. 1.6 has been removed)
  • *new* Support of PHP 5.4.x
  • *new* Translations has been improved
  • *new* Module has been rewritten (by that you have to update every module instance cause of parameter changes within the module configuration)
  • *new* Overwrite the Image directory and use a completely separate directory one within the module instance
  • *new* Many new configuration settings has been added to the module to have a better handling with the new slider
  • *new* Use multiple module instances with an image or slider within the same page
